KBP-Pangasinan Sportsfest 2017 kicked off

The Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilpinas (KBP)-Pangasinan Sportsfest 2017 kicked off on June 17 at the Divine Word Academy of Dagupan (DWAD) Gym.

According to chapter chairman Mark Gemson Espinosa, the KBP Sportsfest was usually administered during summer but the rainy season won’t be a hindrance to make this year’s Sportsfest possible. The sports fest was conducted as a way of having a break for media practitioners and personnel’s hustle on their radio and TV works.

The Yellow Team (Yes FM Stations, DZRD, K17) won the match against Green Team (Bombo Radyo Dagupan) in the first basketball game with the score of 72 -37 points.

In the second game, the volleyball game was ruled by the Red Team (Love Radio, Yes FM Stations, Aksyon Radyo, DWIZ) against Green Team (Energy FM & Bombo Radyo Dagupan), 25-19.

Red Team (ABS-CBN & MOR) dominated the third game against Blue Team (iFM, Love Radio Dagupan, DWPR) tallying a score of 72-61.

The Finals will be on June 24 at the Divine Word Academy of Dagupan (DWAD) Gymnasium.
