Pangasinan 1 holds Division Athletic Meet 2017

The Athletic Association of Pangasinan 1 held their annual Division Athletic Meet on September 27-29 at the Narciso Ramos Sports and Civic Center in Lingayen, Pangasinan.

The Division Athletic Meet is a yearly event of showcasing skills and talents of athletes in different sports like basketball, volleyball, badminton, sepak takraw, triathlon and others. This sports event was conducted to select teams that will represent Pangasinan in the upcoming Region I Athletic Association (R1AA). The qualifiers in the R1AA will compete in Palarong Pambansa, one of the biggest sports events in the country.

With the theme “Changing lives through Camaraderie and Sportsmanship,” the 2017 Division Athletic Meet proved to be a tight competition between the participating municipalities of Lingayen, Binmaley, Sual, Labrador, Alaminos, Bolinao, and Bugallon. The purpose of the event was to train, select, and prepare the players and teams for the upcoming R1AA.
