Driver dies in shooting incident

A man was shot by two unidentified suspects riding on a single motorcycle along Malacapas Road, in Dasol, Pangasinan on June 18.

The victim was identified as Pacquito Diaz Abella, 48, a tricycle driver and a resident of Brgy. Uli. According to PO1 Terrence B. Ferrer who investigated the crime scene, they recovered three pieces of fired cartridge cases of Caliber 45 on the crime scene. The victim was driving his tricycle with his five passengers along the road when two unidentified suspects shot the victim. Abella sustained two gunshot wounds on his head and was rushed to Dasol Community Hospital but pronounced dead on arrival.
