Drug pusher dies in shooting incident

A man died on the spot after being shot inside a jeepney by four unidentified men, riding a motorcycle at McArthur Highway, Guiguinto, Bulacan on June 21.

“While stuck in traffic, the men opened the windows of my jeepney and shot the victim. He was really being targeted,” said the driver. “All passengers ran out of the jeepney in fear,” he added.

Guiguinto Police conducted an investigation and found out that he was a drug pusher. Guiguinto Police Chief Supt. Orlando Castil Jr. said: “He was in a Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC) watch list, he was a user, pusher, and also surrendered under Oplan Tokhang according to source, but continued his illegal activities.”
