Santiago: Success of Tokhang has limitations

Former Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Director General Dionisio Santiago considered the Anti-drug Campaign by President Duterte a success in a press conference last June 22.

Though he believes that the campaign was successful, he pointed out that there are still a lot of improvements to be done. Santiago said: “We have to re-engineer this anti-drug campaign. The success of Tokhang has limitations.”

“I consider the campaign successful because many are now afraid and many are changing. But still, others still return. When you go back, you will not have any livelihood again, and you will have no income. So you have to work on it,” he added.
