The LGU Binalonan's gimmick to accumulate blood donors for bloodletting activity became viral on social media last June 28 at the Binalonan Rock Garden in Binalonan, Pangasinan for the celebration of the World Blood Donors Month.

According to Binalonan Mayor Ramon Guico III, it was the 4th bloodletting program of the municipality and they wanted to accumulate more donors so they thought of transforming themselves into vampires as their gimmick but did not expect that the video would go viral internationally.

Guico III said: "Inaanyayahan po namin kayong lumahok, sumali, at magbigay ng inyong dugo," in a video message as streaks of fake blood seemed to drip from his mouth. The video already garnered over 42,000 views and 511 shares and still counting.
