Celeste signs 4Ps agreement

Alaminos City Mayor Arthur F. Celeste along with other first district mayors attended the Pantawid Pamilya Pilipino Program (4Ps) Reorientation of Partnership Stakeholders at Leisure Coast Resort in Dagupan City last June 28.

The presentation and review of the General Memorandum of Agreement (GMOA) and the 4Ps Specific Implementation Agreement (SIA) which were eventually signed by the local chief executives was the highlight of the said activity.

Developing and implementing social protection programs that will address the needs of the poor, empower citizens, and promote inclusive growth in the towns and cities was the main purpose of MOA in establishing partnership between Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and the Local Government Unit (LGU). Also present during the undertaking activity was Social Welfare Development Officer Imelda M. Ruiz.
