Maureen Wroblewitz was the first Filipina to win Asia’s Next Top Model (AsNTM) on its fifth season last June 28 that took place in Singapore and Malaysia this year.

Maureen said that her journey throughout Asia’s Next Top Model was never easy for she had to fight her insecurities especially being the youngest and smallest among the contestants. Maureen had beaten Malaysia's Shikin Gomez and Vietnam's Minh Tu Nguyen in the finals.

Cindy Bishop, a professional model and one of the judges of AsNTM said: "Maureen, your gorgeous face has been a great advantage to you, but you also worked hard to prove that you were worth more than just a pretty face as you finally broke free of that mold throughout the weeks.”

"You're not only the youngest, you're also the smallest of the competition. But you have stood tall, and silenced anyone who ever doubted you," she added.

As part of her prize, Wroblewitz took home the coveted contract with London-based Storm Model Management. She will also be on the cover of Nylon Singapore's online edition and will be featured in other high-profile fashion campaigns.
