Bigbang’s T.O.P attends first hearing in marijuana charges

K-pop boy band Bigbang member/actor Choi Seunghyun a.k.a T.O.P attended the first hearing in marijuana charges filed against him at Seoul District Court last June 29.

Last June 6, T.O.P was found unconscious in his house and was rushed in the hospital due to drug overdose. He was accused for smoking marijuana four times in his own place. He was unconscious for 3 consecutive days and was taken to Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for faster recovery. His family, especially his mother, stayed by his side and took care for him during his days in the hospital.

T.O.P was not the only one who was accused in the said case, a female trainee in YG Entertainment Company (Bigbang’s company) was also charged for using marijuana with the k-pop actor. The girl was allegedly the rumored girlfriend of T.O.P. In his letter which he read on the court, the actor was apologizing to his family, friends, fans, and especially to his mother.
