1st Pangasinan Inter-Agency Games kicks off
Seventeen teams from different national agencies in the province participated in the 1st Pangasinan Inter-Agency Friendship Games 2017 at the Narciso Ramos Sports and Civic Center (NRSCC) Gym in Lingayen, Pangasinan on July 3.
Gov. Amado I. Espino, III conceptualized the tournament and followed the same format of the 1st Governor’s Cup Intertown/City Basketball Tournament and the ongoing Inter-LGU (local government unit) Unity Games.
The 17 teams from 14 national agencies were composed of Bureau of Fire Protection, DepEd1, DPWH, Region 1 Medical Center, DepEd Urdaneta, CENPELCO, PANELCO, PhilHealth, Philippine National Police, Judiciary, Bureau of Internal Revenue, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, Social Security Services, and National Irrigation Agency.
A single round robin format will be used for a total of 92 games with the 17 teams competing in the next two months and the championships will be on Civil Service Commission month in September.
