Basketball Referees Association for Schools, Colleges and University (BRASCU) will be the new officiating team of the 93rd NCAA Basketball Tournament that will kick off on July 8 at the MOA Arena in Pasay City.

NCAA has tapped BRASCU and a 40-man pool of referees from one group to have the same interpretations of the rules that will be implemented this season 93. Last season, referees from three separate groups was designated making them inconsistent when it comes to calling the violations.

League deputy commissioner Atty. Rebo Saguisag said: “This year, we tapped BRASCU because we want consistency and one interpretation of our rules.” Saguisag also announced that the league will revert to old FIBA rule using the possession arrow rule.
