CCNHS conducts earthquake drill

Calasiao Comprehensive National High School (CCNHS) conducted an earthquake drill with the theme, "Sa bawat sakuna, tayo ay laging handa" on July 3.

The earthquake drill was intended to raise the awareness of students and also in preparation for the “Big One” that could strike anytime. Furthermore, the earthquake drill provided every student with information about the “do’s and don’ts” when there is a calamity and was taught basic safety measures such as drop, cover, and hold on. Red Cross and Calasiao PNP also participated on the drill.

Mr. Ariel Prado, one of the teachers of CCNHS said: “There is a discussion of which area is safe to visit in case of an earthquake and of course, it also depends on the location within the school. When the students have heard the third whistle, it is time to go to the designated safe area.”
