News anchor walks out in live TV
ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO - A news anchor went viral after he threw his papers in a live television broadcast after a technical difficulty last Thursday, July 6.
The news anchor, Doug Fernandez of KO Albuquerque Television (KOAT), was cutting away to a reporter in the field not realizing the remote shot was not ready. After a while, he said: “Now, we don’t have that story…” and moved on to another news ― just in time for the field reporter to kick in and interrupt him. In frustration, he threw his papers up in the air and appeared to walk off the set.
The telecast attracted attention online and went viral all because of a technical glitch in live TV.
