Illegal drugs worth P1.6M seize on buy-bust operation

An estimated amount of P1.6 million worth of shabu was seized in a drug buy-bust operation in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental on July 12.

According to Supt. Arturo Fullero, Corsiden Abie, a native of Lanao Del Sur and currently residing at Muslim Area, V. Gustilo St., Negros City was the newly-identified drug personality in the city. According to reports, Fullero said the suspect was on his way to the adjacent town, Toboso, to sell the contraband items since the municipality was celebrating its fiesta. They conducted a drug buy-bust operation after they received reports about his illegal transactions.

PNP seized a small sachet of shabu and P1,200 marked money from the suspect. They also got two plastics containing shabu and weighs about 160 grams equivalent to P1.6 million pesos that was recovered inside his tricycle.
