Floyd Mayweather Jr and Conor McGregor went face-to-face for the last time in an intense press conference at Wembley Arena in London, UK last July 14 wherein the two got to a fiery trash talking with each other.
A huge number of crowds were cheering for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) champion McGregor with many of his fellow Irishmen made their way to the British Capital just to support the boxing neophyte. Dana White, president of UFC, believes that underdog McGregor has a chance of upsetting the American boxer with an untarnished record of 49-0.
“It’s definitely the biggest fight ever in combat sports history, and probably going to be the biggest payday ever,” White said in an interview with FOX Sports.
While boxing legend and senator Manny Pacquiao told reporters in Brisbane, Australia that he believes Mayweather has a better chance of winning the match. Given that the match is in the rules and grounds of boxing which is Mayweather’s field of expertise.
With this fight happening on August 26 at Las Vegas, Nevada, all contact sports-enthusiast will be waiting and hoping for the best fight of the century.
