Korean superstar Park Shin Hye was back in Manila for her much-awaited concert to her Filipino fans that was held at Araneta Coliseum last Friday, July 28.

The 27-year old The Heirs leading actress first visited the country way back 2013. Shin Hye was a well-known Korean philanthropist in her country but she was extending her help and care not only with the people in Korea, but along countries where children are in need. She was planning to put up a charity center for children in the Philippines.

According to an interview of push.abs-cbn.com, Shin Hye said: “I actually started working for malnourished children in Ghana. That’s how I started my philanthropy activities. But Ghana is so far away so it’s hard for me to visit and see the kids that I am helping out so I was wondering how I could help out kids in a location that was more accessible and closer to Korea. I heard from a Korean preacher living in the Philippines and the preacher was the one who suggested that there was a community here that I can help out children in the Philippines.”

The actress was also in the country for the promotion of Filipino clothing line — Bench that she has been part of for years.
