Two malls to rise soon in Dagupan

Two shopping malls will rise soon in Dagupan as the city was recently named one of the economic zones by Philippine Economic Zone Authority.

According to Mayor Belen Fernandez, the two shopping malls under construction are The City Mall which is owned by Golden Dragon Inc. located at Brgy. Mayombo and SM’s Hypermart located in M.H. Del Pilar Street.

The City Mall is expected to be completed by September this year while the SM’s Hypermart has just begun its construction on July and is expected to be done sometime next year.

The two shopping malls will be adding to the six malls existing in the city. With the business investors continuously coming to the city, the local government offers additional growth centers which was identified in the newly approved Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP). CLUP now makes the city capable to have more investors, more businesses, and is also a move to promote tourism in the city.
