Heart Evangelista, Alexander Lee stars in My Korean Jagiya

My Korean Jagiya, a new romantic comedy-drama primetime series by GMA Network premiered on August 21 starring Heart Evangelista and Alexander Lee, a former member of K-pop boy band U-Kiss.


The series directed by Mark Reyes was filmed in Seoul, South Korea. It tells the story of Guadalupe Immaculada Asuncion or “Gia” (Heart Evangelista), a hopeless romantic girl and a Korean drama fan who is determined to meet her long-time crush Kim Jun-Ho (Alexander Lee), a former Korean superstar who stepped out of the limelight at the height of his career.


Jagiya is a Korean term of endearment for honey, sweetie, love, or darling. The romantic comedy-drama airs every Monday to Friday at 9:20 p.m. on GMA.
