The First Scout Ranger Regiment, Special Operations Command, and Philippine Army base in Camp Tecson, San Miguel, Bulacan has finally completed their Water Survival Training at Barangay Telbang, Alaminos City on August 27.
The said training was part of their Physical Training Trainers’ Course (PTTC) headed by Sgt. Major SM Arandid. Its aim was to help company commanders, platoon leaders, and instructors to train and determine the water survival ability of their soldiers. The training also built the soldiers’ confidence for operations in and around water.
In the short program conducted, Sgt. Major Arandid extended his sincere gratitude to Alaminos City Mayor Arthur Celeste for his support on the said training.
