Pangasinan PNP joins tourism seminar workshop

PNP wrapped up its three-day seminar for National Tourist Oriented Police for Community Order and Protection (TOPCOP) in a graduation ceremony held in Islandia Hotel, Alaminos City on August 31.


The said seminar wanted to enhance the capability of policemen in tourist protection and public service. It also promotes a safe and secured tourist environment by preventing the increasing number of crimes directed against tourists. The seminar was participated by police officers from various police stations within the 1st district of Pangasinan.


PSSUPT Rene Pamuspusan, Executive Officer-Directorate for Operations, and also the affair's guest speaker, commended the city's transformation especially in maintaining peace and order. He as well encouraged the participants to apply the knowledge gained from the three-day seminar in effectively performing their duties.
