PHINMA-UPang College of Health and Sciences conducts blood typing activity

PHINMA-University of Pangasinan Department of Medical Laboratory Science of College of Health and Sciences conducted a blood typing activity entitled “Know Your ABO Status” in the Student's Plaza and university entrance on September 19.

The blood typing activity was organized by the 3rd year Medical Technology students. This activity was held to encourage and educate the people especially the students of PHINMA-University of Pangasinan to know their blood type.

Guada Mae Velasco, the Vice-President of the Department of Medical Laboratory Science, said: “Blood typing activity is a fast and easy way to ensure that you receive the right kind of blood. Fifty percent of the Filipino people didn’t know their blood type and this activity is an opportunity to inform the students that they should not be afraid to try this blood typing activity."
