MARINA observes National Maritime Week

The Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) conducted a safety caravan in line with the celebration of National Maritime Week on September 26.
The activity, with the theme “Connecting Ships, Ports, and People”, wanted to emphasize the importance and the vital role of the agency in achieving an inclusive and sustainable socio-economic growth for the country. In the short program, Dr. Emielou Gellado thanked the collaborative efforts of various partner agencies in the city for the protection and rehabilitation of the Hundred Islands National Park.
Philippine Coastguard, Philippine Ports Authority, Hundred Islands Motorboats Association, Philippine National Police (PNP), Land Transportation Office (LTO), and City Tourism Office were the participants of the event.
