PNP arrests NPA leader in Quezon Province

A leader of NPA has been arrested by PNP in San Andres, Quezon Province on September 28.


Senior Supt. Rhoderick Armamento said that a warrant of arrest was issued to the NPA leader, Rolando Carandang a.k.a. “Ka Michael.” The suspect was the platoon leader of NPA in the southern part of Quezon Province and also wanted for murder and multiple attempted murders.


According to a police statement, Carandang hid in Masbate since 2014.
